Malika Jacobs
Co-founder & CEO · Columbus, Ohio
A mom to two elementary-aged kids, Malika has spent her career building fresh, beloved experiences from scratch. She uses Array for household schedules, a vintage shop daydream, and guiding her oldest in the fundamentals of baking and pastry (including the key piece: "leave the kitchen like you found it").
Ryan Bidan
Co-founder & CPO · Dallas, Texas
A stay-at-home dad for nine years before his two kids went to college, Ryan shaped the devices that defined how we first went mobile, across BlackBerry, Samsung, and Microsoft. He uses Array for road trips to the national parks still on his list, and the ever-elusive: building a secret base on the dark side of the moon.
Malika and Ryan were introduced by Malika’s former advisor — and Ryan’s wife — Barb, and are building Array remotely.
They are bound by a mutual love of useful and beautiful system design, their respective ties to Canada (where Malika was born and Ryan was born and raised), and a shared belief that we can do better.
They are fortunate to build Array alongside their engineering team — Michel in the Dominican Republic and Pedro in Brazil — and VYNE Creative in Columbus, OH, on design.
